Great Golf Course: The golf course at Alford is great fun to play for golfers whatever their ability. There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes. The terrain is generally level so it is not a grueling course to play.
Competitive Golf : being a member of Alford GC golf allows you to play regular ladies and men's club competitions throughout the summer season including medal, stableford, bogey, knockout and Texas scramble as well as the club championship

Thriving Seniors Section: Alford GC has a thriving men’s Seniors Section which welcomes new members and hold organised sweeps on Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday lunchtime.
The Seniors Section also participate in regular team matches against other clubs in the area providing the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.

Ladies Section: The Alford GC Ladies Section which hold counting competitions on Thursday and Sundays
